The Smart CARE Program will put you in touch with a solicitor who cares about what you are going through. The solicitor you are paired with will have training in domestic abuse and understand and guide you safely through the legal process.

The Smart CARE Program is dedicated to supporting parents and caregivers who have experienced domestic or family abuse, particularly in situations involving children.

The Smart CARE Program is designed to provide practical support and empower individuals to take charge of their lives through a human rights approach.

The Smart CARE Program offers assistance on a case-by-case basis at significantly reduced rates or fixed fees once applicants meet the eligibility criteria. The costs of engaging a privately funded lawyer can be substantial, ranging from $30,000.00 to $70,000.00 or more depending on the complexity of the case and the number of legal issues involved.
